Boston University Joins a2ru

Boston University (BU) has joined The Alliance for the Arts in Research Universities (a2ru). Ty Furman Ed.D, Managing Director for the BU Arts Initiative says that, “BU is thrilled to be joining a2ru. This is an exciting time for the arts at BU and we are happy to be joining the impressive group of partner institutions in celebrating and supporting the arts in research universities. BU leadership, faculty, and students are exploring exciting opportunities and research in the arts from music in the civil rights movement, to art and health care, and contemporary performances in the classical Japanese noh form. We look forward to the many opportunities to connect with other thought leaders in the arts through a2ru.”
