The vision of the School of Architecture & Design is to become “The Pioneering Force for Global Impact Through Design.” Its faculty are thought-leaders who take risks as they engage the world, exploring the frontiers of knowledge with one thing in mind: to provide our students with the design, leadership, and planning skills they will need to build healthy, sustainable communities, and make discoveries that will change the world. The Architecture and Design Departments have much in common and yet are distinctly different, and thus our students have many opportunities to learn from each other in an interdisciplinary manner.
