Specially designed for our Tenure and Promotion Workshop, this worksheet prompts users to identify and describe aspects of their institution’s tenure and promotion landscape. The resulting “canvas” illustrates the current state of tenure and promotion policy at a university, and particularly the challenges it presents for the arts, design, and interdisciplinary practice. Teams of faculty and academic leadership charged with policy can use the canvas as together they envision the future state of policy.
