Hall Center for the Humanities

The Hall Center exists to stimulate and support interdisciplinary research in the humanities, arts and social sciences. It supports scholarly development through a variety of fellowships and grants, workshops, seminars, and colloquia for faculty, graduate students, and undergraduates at KU. Its collateral mission is to sponsor public humanities programs that bring humanities scholarship to the wider community. Through the Humanities Lecture Series, KU in Wichita outreach program, Women’s Leadership Lecture, and other special events, the Hall Center engages the community surrounding the University of Kansas in lively debate about the most current and important issues in current affairs.
