This University of Alabama seminar uses creativity as its organizing principle to explore human culture, self- awareness, the creative process, and creative expression. Students explore and challenge their own creative processes and acquire scholarly knowledge of creativity. Among other objectives, students are expected to learn how to critically think  through and communicate about creativity, innovation, and interdisciplinarity in the arts; understand creativity  within a range of historical, social and ethical contexts; and demonstrate creative processes through practice applications.
