Assistant Professor in Arts in Health, University of Florida Center for Arts in Medicine
The University of Florida Center for Arts in Medicine is looking for a dynamic, creative arts in health scholar to join their team as a tenure‑track Assistant Professor in Arts in Health.
What you’ll do:
Maintain an externally funded research/creative agenda at national/international levels
Recruit, teach, and mentor undergraduate and graduate students (in person, asynchronous, hybrid)
Develop and deliver courses in arts in health (e.g., theory, practice, evaluation)
Advance work in areas such as arts in health, public health, medical/health humanities, arts + AI, or related fields
What they’re looking for:
A terminal degree (PhD, DMA, or equivalent) in arts in health, public health, arts therapy, humanities, or a related field
A strong track record (or strong potential) in research, creative activity, and external funding
Experience in teaching and mentoring at undergraduate and/or graduate levels
