  • December 4, 2013
  • By Allison Engel
The University of Southern California and Pacific Asia Museum have joined forces, strengthening USC’s deep Pacific Rim ties.

The University of Southern California and Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena, CA, announced an alliance on November 18th that presents a wealth of collaborative opportunities for both institutions. The new partnership preserves the museum’s 1924 Chinese Qing Dynasty-inspired mansion as an art museum and will enhance the scholarship of faculty and students at USC’s six arts schools and those in the departments of art history, East Asian language and cultures, religion and archaeology. In addition, the alliance will provide a foundation for renewed museum studies and a curatorial training program at USC.
