Graduate students at the University of Florida are tasked with collaborating in small interdisciplinary teams to realize works that respond to seminar topics, including: space and time, representation and perception, the virtual and the real, body and place, processes and modes of making, emergence of forms and structural analogues, materiality, displacement, and others. Learning objectives include learning to work outside of self-imposed boundaries, working collaboratively, becoming aware of creative processes utilized by other disciplines, understanding transdisciplinarity, and developing a critical approach to media and culture.
