Seminar in Digital Cultures and Creativity: Expanded Media

University of Maryland’s Krista Caballero offers a this course, in which students understanding how their own critical thinking develops through the process of creating original projects both individually and collaboratively. Through research and practice students communicate major trends, ideas and issues that new technologies raise in a global context, learn how to critically evaluate the history of cinema and apply this scholarship through the creation of original projects, and synthesize insights from one another and the instructor in order to produce a final project that demonstrates real depth of creativity and insight in the area of expanded cinema.
