Students learn to create art using a 3D plastic printer as well as basic electronics and the Arduino prototyping platform.


 

Media Experiments in Art and Technology II is a collaborative, interdisciplinary, cutting edge course that aims to stimulate interdisciplinary collaboration to develop creative methodologies that enhance the life-long creative practice of both artists and engineers. University of Florida students learn to create art using a 3D plastic printer as well as basic electronics and the Arduino prototyping platform. Student teams are composed of equal numbers of engineering and art students, and work to create electronic devices that are both functional and creative.
