• So, what did this [a2ru] conference really have to do with the arts? Actually, quite a lot. Even though it wasn’t explicitly a traditional conference about the fine arts, I felt like there was an underlying message that artists should always be part of the larger conversation about creativity and innovation. After all, artists have the unique trait of being communicators by training.

An explosion of technology and content producers is rapidly changing cinematic arts, and research at USC includes centers studying 5D world building, creative media and behavioral health, IMAX immersive media, innovative game design, nonfiction animation, innovative entertainment devices and many more cutting-edge divisions and projects. This video shows the interconnectivity and the multidisciplinary aspects of this revolution in interactive media, giving a roadmap of its future.
