Arts After Dark

  • December 4, 2013

When classes end for the day at USC, creative work is just beginning for arts students in late-night labs.

All across campus, students at USC’s arts schools focusing on architecture, art/design, cinematic arts, dance, drama and music refine their craft late into the night in after-hours labs, theaters and rehearsal rooms. While other Trojans study or sleep, arts students keep the lights burning as they edit films, practice arias and guitar licks, create stage sets and design costumes. A new, four minute video shows students working late at night in the stop-motion animation lab, 24-hour vocal and instrumental practice rooms, set design lab, and backstage at a theater rehearsal.
